Painter's Soft Cotton threads are matte, have a soft hand and are slightly fuzzy. The threads subdued colour and lack of texture or twist allows for creating soft, subtle stitchery; and is equally important to the balance of a design. You can create depth and achieve a sense of layering when matte threads are used in combination with lustrous threads. It lends itself well to any couching technique and can also be used as a substitute for tapestry wool. 10 metres per skein.
